abasio One of my favourite albums recently. It hits everything I'm looking for. It's chilled but quite aggressive, it has ethnic influences but they're beautifully done and don't get cheesy. It's deep and takes you on a journey and it holds up on repeat listens. Very cool album. Favorite track: Duality (with Kevin Tool).

"Evolve" is the second release from The Adaptive, following the four-song "Reinvent" EP released in 2014. "Evolve" explores the combination of modern and ancient, east and west, rhythmic and melodic. Guitarist and producer Shane Cotee spent two full years preparing these songs, deriving inspiration from the dirt dancefloors he found along the way.
