“Monuments” is the first collaboration between two ambient artists with common home states (Oregon, Arizona). These western soundscapes drifted into shape after Shane Cotee (In The Branches) and Joseph Valentino (Neglect) met at a Loop Madness event in Portland, Oregon, in March 2016. A live jam followed, resulting in the tracks that started this album.
